Gulfstream Boat Club looks for tidy and well-mannered dockhands to assist members to their reservation and maintain the integrity of the fleet. We know our members by name and treat them like family, and they show us their appreciation.

Dockhands are responsible for preparing boats for each reservation, ensuring they’re clean, fueled and safe; helping members feel familiar and confident with the safety equipment on board, fueling and cleaning the boats after the guests return, performing necessary maintenance (waxing, quick fixes, logging hours, etc) when needed, and identifying any issues to their location manager.

Applicants who know how to drive and dock a boat will be given preference.

Gulfstream Boat Club is open 7 days a week from 8:30am to 5:30 or 6:00pm (depending on the time of year), and open through most holidays except Easter, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Dockhands must be available to work weekends and holidays.

Compensation consists of a competitive hourly wage, with special perks when employment is extended past the 3-month probationary period.

We provide a high-end, concierge-style experience for our Members. The Boat Club Manager should feel confident managing small teams of people, enjoy engaging with the public, and possess the ability to easily chat about high-end leisure activities.

Strong time-management skills, and the ability to recalibrate for busy seasons and off-seasons are essential. As an ambassadors of Gulfstream Boat Club, you will be a crucial resource for our members, and strive to create an unmatched elevated boating experience.

Previous experience in the boating and marine industry is valued but not required. However, familiarity with using a CRM as well as other cloud-based software will be essential in your role.

Together with other location managers and our sales team you’ll participate in weekly calls with to share feedback, insights, updates and progress.

Gulfstream Boat Club is on the lookout for high-performing Sales Managers to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets. The Sales Manager will work alongside the Leadership Team to grow our boat club membership base across current and future locations.

We are a fast growing boat club with locations on the east and west coasts of Florida. We have been building our premium fleet of name brands like Cobia, Sportsman, Pursuit and Boston Whaler for over a decade.

Your written and verbal communication skills should be top-notch: you should be an excellent listener and great at asking questions that invite a lead to give more information. You’ll interact with leads through a variety of software, such as our CRM (Pipedrive) and our phone system (JustCall), as well as in person when they come for tours.

You are our first and best ambassador of the Club’s mission: to provide an elevated and effortless experience that puts the customer and their needs first.

Each week you’ll meet with the marketing and leadership team to discuss strategies, tactics, and results. You’ll be asked to come up with new ideas for generating leads and to report on current efforts.

SKILLS

  • BS/MS degree in business administration or a related field
  • Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Experience with a CRM, such as Pipedrive, to track leads and sales
  • At least 5 years direct customer service experience
  • Proven record of setting and achieving (or exceeding!) sales goals
  • Ability to stay organized, focused and calm in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
