Docking is on a first-come, first-served basis during operating hours only for $2.50 for the first 4 hours.
Don’t miss the Tampa Bay Watch Discovery Center located on the over-water walkway approaching the St. Pete Pier. Their efforts are to highlight the local ecosystem and Tampa Bay Watch’s past and present work to restore it. The focal point is a large 1,800 gallon estuary habitat that replicates the living habitat of many of the species found in our local waters, along with interactive exhibits, daily programs and a touch tank.
Toss a Line at Skyway Fishing Pier State Park
Getting kids on the water for a family fun fishing trip is a great way to spend quality time on your vacation. At the pier, you will get a wide range of saltwater fish, but the main attraction is the Grouper. Other than that, you will find black sea bass, snook, cobia, mackerel, snapper, tarpon, pompano, and sheepshead.
